The Practice period between Workshop 2 and 3
The second Practice Period of the Programme aims to develop the participants’ work with marginalised young people and to engage them in participatory planning and decision-making. The time between November 2022 and January 2023 was full of Zoom meetings between participants and the learning supervisor and responsible lecturer. One group meeting, led by Nicole Borisuk (Ukraine) discussed the topic of ethical dilemmas in the work with children and young people. This was a very important and pleasant time for sharing and discussion. At the end of the year, the last online workshop was about Future Lab, and it was led by the Italian partner, Diaconia Valdese. The subsequent Zoom meetings were given over to the reflection of the implications of the previous contact teaching workshop in participants’ practice. By the beginning of 2023 there was a good starting point to discuss action plans for mini projects with the young people and the co-learning exchanges foreseen for the first six months of the year. In February, the planned the input from Marek Ilenin from Slovakia will focus on participatory project development.
