In the heart of Riga, I embarked on a unique journey of cultural immersion and personal growth through an exchange programme. My experience unfolded within a vibrant day centre for both children and seniors, offering diverse activities and opportunities.
This centre served as a cultural hub, allowing me to dive into Latvia's rich heritage whilst it also provided insights into Latvia's social support systems.
Going beyond the centre, I connected with other Latvian youth organisations and fellow project participants, thus gaining valuable insights into diverse initiatives and motivations.
This exchange was a transformative experience, reminding me of the power of cultural immersion and self-discovery. It deepened my understanding of my own motivation and the importance of maintaining inner drive while avoiding burnout.
